A screen recording gives you picture and silence

iOS deliberately strips call audio out of screen recordings. It applies to FaceTime, to WhatsApp, to every VoIP call on the platform, and it is a privacy decision rather than a bug, so there is no setting that turns it off. The fix is an app that owns both sides of the call and writes each of them to disk itself.
